Portfolio tips: Feng Zhu

I have started to research on how to make a good concept art portfolio because by knowing what is expected by the clients you should become more aware. As a concept artist you need to know how to be versatile and draw a wide range of subjects. You need to be able to draw environments, characters and assets as you far more employable and will be viewed as a professional rather than a student. So in order to be able to create a strong body of work you need to know the fundamentals of drawing so as a character artist it is obvious to study anatomy and demonstrate good realistic paintings. If you only include cartoon drawings then the clients might think you can only draw in this particular style.
