Tim Burton born August 25, 1958 is a successful artist, director, producer and writer. He is well known for his dark, twisted and bazzare concepts and designs. He was also massively successful in the movie Alice and Wonderland (2010) and his style truly shined through in this film.
My all time Tim Burton film is Edward Scissorhand its querky well designed and just beautiful. But putting the film itself aside i noticed the artwork produced for the film where unique and expressive. I really like how he chooses use his mark making skills as it makes his drawing look free and expresive.
I have made a self portrait using Tim Burtons Unique style as inspiration. Im happy with the outcome and I also like how you dont have to aim just at detail with this style.
