Mr Danny Styles: Stage 4 and 5

Right I think I've nailed the anatomy and lighting so I have started to add some details to the painting such as the hair line and texture. Painting the hair was really interesting and really expressive due to the mark making involved. I used a dabbing like motion as if i was using a bristled paint brush to get the texture right, I usually paint straight Caucasian or Asian hair so this time I've been taken out of my comfort zone.

My next step will be to get some more characteristic features however I'm not to sure yet! I'm not really to sure why I'm up painting at this time of hour writing but I cant help but paint and write on this blog.......Coffee break then study time!
