Beaver Influence

Beavers are famously known for their talents to re engineer the landscape. When sites are available beavers burrow into the banks of rivers and lakes. However they are very adaptable and can build dams in less suitable environments. The beaver gnaws its way through trees with its powerful jaw to collect food and resources for its dam. Beavers are among the largest of rodents. They are herbivores and prefer to eat leaves, bark, twigs, roots, and aquatic plants. On land the beaver waddles and is very slow however when in the water the beaver moves swiftly and gracefully. This is due to the beaver's webbed feet and paddle shaped tails.

I want the father to be influenced by the beaver as in my story the father is very busy providing for the family which is very similar to the beaver traits. With the character art the father will be at an old age and very bulky to represent the shape of the beaver.
