These are my first digital painting concepts of the horned bear cub. I plan to progress the character further by adding more influences from the bear and improving the anatomy quality. I really like this style of paintings well as I feel it adds a fantasy vibe to the design.
I have chosen to create two versions of the portrait as I wanted to change the characters age. I have noticed when designing a young character the features get closer to each other and the eyes look much larger than an adult.
